  • We always knew we wanted to have plants in our home, but we had to be realistic about the maintenance. So, we decided to incorporate both real and fake plants. 😬🍃
  • It all began with a birthday gift I received, and from there, we continued to acquire more, finding perfect spots for each in our home. Featured here is the gift—a Swiss cheese plant! This is how it looked in June. In the subsequent pictures, you'll see how much it has grown. 😍
  • Here's one of our other real plants, a perfect addition to our study room, adding a pop of color to our background during virtual meetings.
  • We utilized plants to enhance our TV console as well. Pictured here is another real plant.
  • Last but not least, we opted for the string of hearts for the guest bathroom, following recommendations from the nursery that it could survive with little to no sunlight. Spoiler alert: it withered after 2 months. 🥲
  • As I mentioned, low maintenance was a key consideration for choosing real plants, and these ones only need to be watered once a week. We simply shower them lightly and that's it. ☔️ That’s the Swiss cheese from earlier!
  • Look at how beautiful they are!
  • We also have some faux plants around the house to add color where possible. Here's one in our living pantry area, which I haven't had to think about since we bought it!
  • Really adds a beautiful touch 🫶🏽
  • And another in the guest bathroom—literally no maintenance, lol.
  • I've been eager to try fresh flowers, but they're both costly and require some care. This weekend, I finally bought some lilies to start slow.
  • I got super excited when they started to bloom. 🌸
  • I'll probably begin experimenting more with fresh flowers now, mainly because I think this gin bottle makes a stunning vase. 😍
  • Toodaloo! 🍃
