Our service yard is our "efficient laundry haven".. It is a no BS approach to laundry...We put it together in such a way that it creates a smooth workflow from gathering dirty clothes to washing and drying!! 
We have 2 laundry baskets which use to separate our clothes. One is in our room. This helps keep the laundry room tidy and whenever we need to wash, we will just sit on the stool and separate our clothes right there and then. The other basket sits in the laundry room as seen here. This basket in specifically used for hiding used bedsheet! The reason for this because we wash our bedsheet in bulk. Mind you, we do change our bedsheet once a week.. hehe! But of course, as you know, even though it takes 1 hour of washing, 2 hours of drying, putting it away takes at least 14 business days! hehehehe 
We kept frequently used items easily accessible such as the laundry pods, powder detergent, liquid detergent and even clothes pegs on the counter. For liquid detergent and fabric softener, we use the pump glass bottle for quick access to these liquids. One thing for sure, we are glad to build a cabinet in the service yard for extra storage and of course to place these items for easy access. Whenever we do our laundry, we will keep the window open for air circulation. We also use a portable and compact dehumidifier that efficiently removes damp, mould and moisture from the air. So far, we are quite happy with how we turn this small space into a simple and functional laundry haven. Anyways thanks for being here. Do follow us @quratedhaus :)
