Life is better with...Steigen! A home appliance we can't live without

We didn't really show our service yard in our earliest post, so let us share more about how we've transformed the space and THE appliance we can't live without! We knocked down the service yard door for a more direct entry to the service yard from the kitchen. This really helps to allow more natural light into the house and open up the space of our tiny kitchen :)
When renovating our house, one of the first few things we did was to install service yard windows, to prevent rain from entering. Tbh, we didn't know BTO flats don't come with windows by default, not sure why since everyone needs it anyway haha. Our ID was quite honest in telling us that her firm usually charges higher for windows installation, so we went with our estate group buy.

And.. this is the game-changing appliance that brought so much convenience to us - the Steigen Solar Mini! We can now do our laundry anytime of the day. We'd wanted to get the Solar Sonic, it has 4 different colours, (there's a really pretty midnight blue!) but had to go with the Solar Mini instead, because we have appliances on both ends of our service yard. Steigen was very kind to let us change our original order without incurring any penalties. If you have less appliances in the service yard, you can definitely go for Solar Sonic!
The Solar Mini is just right for us! Even with the rods extended, it doesn't hit our dishwasher phew! We also really love the built in clips that allows us to hang small items easily, super convenient! The Steigen has an amazing drying system and it leaves a nice warm feeling on our clothes. Generally, our clothes dry in an hour or so, so don't think it uses up that much electricity. In fact, if we are not in a rush, sometimes we don't switch on the drying function and leave it to dry using the sunlight coming through, it usually only takes about half a day!
The rods at the side are fully retractable and can be kept in if you guys prefer a less bulky look! We mostly just leave it there since it doesn't really bother us.
And one final great thing about the Steigen is the 3-tone LED light that it comes with, so we don't have to install another light at the service yard! The light is really powerful and we can even choose from white, in between and warm light! P.S. Steigen provides free and non-obligatory site assessment if you guys need more advice from them!
