  • We are new plant parents who have a tragic backstory on how our first beautiful plant died within weeks. Starting off on a happier note first, here's featuring our second plant - the Japanese Ficus plant from Soilboy!
  • This was the very first plant. A huge limitation to our houseplants is the fact that we are north-south facing AND we do not have full length windows. The lack of direct sunlight helps cool the house down but it also means we can only grow indoor plants who can grow under indirect light. This sophora, sad to say, did not last long. This was our plant that faced the tragic death by lack of sunlight and overwatering.
  • As a result of the lack of direct sunlight, the husband been very diligent in chasing the light for our Everfresh, which is the third plant we got. Our kitchen glows really warmly in the sunset hours so I love just watching the leaves move with the wind and the shadows it cast.
  • Talking about shadows, one of the thing I love most about having plants around are the shadows on the walls.
  • Like this too!
  • And this!
  • I really love having pops of colours, so this was our valentine's bouquet - a vase of preserved flowers. Search: @bloomsinthewoods on Instagram
  • Another pop of colour that we absolutely enjoyed making, thanks to Hipvan event! Much loves.
  • One last plant - a real plant. This was gifted from the dad who is an avid gardener and he promised its the lowest maintanence plant possible. I honestly have no idea what plant this is but I love the red twigs he tied on the plant hehe.
