  • As our house do not have strong sunlight most of the time, we do not have the luxury to have many real plants but decided to get faux plants instead to liven up the house. We preferred “airy” looking plants and plants with small leaves and hence this jacaranda faux plant by the window was a love a first sight. Recently we decided to give real plants a try and started with the very popular asparagus fern indoor plant to further spruce up the aesthetics of the house. Currently it’s still surviving after 1+ month so cross fingers!
  • A closer look at the asparagus fern! Isn’t it so unique and pretty? ◡̈
  • We do get fresh flowers from time to time and afterwards dry them for decor purposes. When choosing real flowers we get those that still retain their colours after drying for more mileage.
  • For the common bathroom, we decorated the countertop area with a simple faux eucalyptus stalks. We didn’t get dried flowers as this is a wet area and just for easier maintenance reasons. By the way, this French lavender handwash from Fushimason is a recommend as it smells really nice and not too drying on the hands too (and it’s refillable so it’s eco friendly ◡̈)
  • This is a faux eucalyptus plant we got from Taobao - doesn’t it look quite real though? We were surprised there were actually fake olives on the plant too lol!
  • Preserved floral bouquet used for our pre wedding photoshoot. We also recommend preserved flowers cus it can retain the colours for a longer period of time - this was gotten more than 2 years ago and it still looks pretty good!
