We decided to paint one of the walls with Nippon Paint Bachelor's Pad Colour so that it is something that makes it unique throughout the house. We also decided on a L-shaped cabinet with a special hinge that can be open more than 90deg. A good thing is that there is no compartment board which divides the cabinet into 2 at the corner. 
Prioritising Bed Size over storage space! We decided to get a king size bed so that we get to have a comfortable space which allows us to toss and turn freely without being mindful that you would disturb your partner's sleep! Besides, the comfort of the mattress matters the most. This mattress is a double topper (everyone who notices would have thought why is the mattress so high and thick). One advantage of a double topper is that it minimizes the motion of the mattress whenever your partner turns. Is it definitely a must to get! We also opted for a storage bed. We store our luggages at the bottom of the bed! This Bed Sidetable purchased from hipvan matches our sideboard in the living room. The size is just alright for the space available in the master bedroom
