  • Living Area! This is our second most frequent place after our dining area. A little corner for our kids to enjoy their free play while the sun shine through the window and adults staying on the sofa for shows.
  • This living area used to be a common room. We hacked it away convert it into our living area in order to have an elongated big living room with our dining area. This definitely creates an illusion of having a very big living room space. We wanted to create a reading corner for our family but we realised that it might not be practical to construct a settle near the windows. A waste of space and money. It would also doesn't allow us to have the flexibility to shift our items around. So we kept our living area simple without any build in carpentry.
  • Close up of our 2m TV console which we got it along with our dining table. At the back of our TV, is the original wall which we did a half hack. We kept the other half to have the intention of doing a wall mount for our TV. However, we skipped that idea and have in sits on the TV console.
  • On the same stretch, we have a 3 tier open shelves for our kids open play. We are keeping the toys quantity very minimal to prevent cluttering issues. We got this Montessori Inspired open shelves from Taobao. Very functional and fits so well with into our home theme. At the same time, it is very pocket friendly too!
  • On the other side of our living area, we had a full feature wall installed to create a seamless look for hiding our storeroom. Creating a walkway in between the walls that would lead to our master and common room. Comment below how do you find our living area?
