  • Here's a glimpse of our guest bathroom. Designing this space was all about balancing aesthetics with practicality. The initial proposal was to have the entire bathroom cladded in subway tiles, but the thought of maintenance (plenty of grout) led us to opt for a half-wall design instead. To maintain a clean and clutter-free look, we incorporated a built-in lower cabinet where we can tuck away our bathroom and cleaning essentials.
  • Our guest bathroom is the only place in our home that has chrome fixtures. It is a small reno regret though — water stains! Something that we hope to change in the future.
  • The Aesop hand wash is a housewarming gift from our friends. It's a classic! In fact, we've received a few bottles since we've moved in. The scent always brings back fond memories of Australia.
  • We chose an open shower design without a fully enclosed screen to avoid that claustrophobic feel. The curved shower screen adds a subtle softness to the space.
  • The shower ledge is made from the same quartz material as the countertop. There wasn't any better area to place the ledge, hence we installed it below the shower mixer. Here, we placed our favorite soap from Stockholm — another cherished travel find.
  • Our toilet bowl is from Rigel — a local brand and a reliable choice. We love the tornado flush which cleans well and minimises splashing.
  • Another bathroom essential — post-poo drops! Just a few drops after flushing, and the space smells fresh and inviting again. All ready for the next guest!
