  • Hey guys, it’s finally the 7th week and we’re almost at the end of this home sharing! This week we’ll be sharing about our bathroom transformation, which was inspired by hotels (kinda!) ;’) Here’s a zoom out photo of our master bathroom! On the left features a full length (left to right) storage mirror. On the right is the shower area where we opted for a full glass panel with swing door. This keeps water away from the dry area (we hate the dry area being wet, anyone else too?) 🫠 Aside to that, we catered 3 types of lights in our common and master bathroom. Is that too much? At least not for us 😅 we love playing with lights and creating a different ambient.
  • Here’s another view of master bathroom featuring the LED strip light installed underneath the storage mirror. We use this light most of the time to feel more cosy and comfortable.
  • The master bathroom does look more spacious when the swing glass door is open! The theme of our bathroom is pretty much similar to the rest of our home, so we decided on matte black shower accessories which creates a striking contrast. If you’re wondering the same.. why instant heater? Why destroy the bathroom aesthetics?! Yes, those were our initial thoughts when we were deciding between an instant heater vs storage heater. So we weigh on some pros and cons (based on our preference). We didn’t like the idea of storage heater where time is needed to heat up water, consistency of water temperature and of course the bulky build to accommodate a tank.. hence we decided to opt for an instant heater (with criteria!) - rain shower, less bulky, slightly minimalist design. In the beginning, the “too many” hose were actually an eye sore for us but we got use to it over time, we’re pretty ok with it now since we’re the only one seeing this everyday ha ha.
  • A closer look at our niche!!!! We loved it so much and no regrets creating this to put our shampoos. 🫧 This aesthetic soap refill bottles goes so well with almost any theme!
  • Just one of the many storage space behind our mirror. We catered a socket here for easy and convenience use of hairdryer, which most hotels do too!
  • Moving onto our common bathroom which features the same theme and concept but with very minimal showering space… unlike the old houses which has pretty spacious bathrooms.
  • A favourite piece in the common bathroom! Due to size limitation, there wasn’t sufficient space for a storage mirror so we opted for something smaller and unique that would stand out in this bathroom. This LED mirror comes in 3 tones, giving off a different vibes each. 😍
  • Common bathroom (BEFORE) It came with wall and floor tiles, including a toilet bowl. But it wasn’t aligned with the theme of our house, so we got it all overlayed and changed.
  • Master bathroom (BEFORE) To sum up, you can pretty much transform your dream bathroom into reality, but of course there’s so much hardwork to it - from decision makings, being hands on, and to finalising the actual product. Understanding what you really want is the key to transforming visions into a space that’s truly yours! See you in the next one 💭
