  • We have a few one of a kind art work pieces in our home. Having customized artwork in our home adds a personal and unique touch to our living space, reflecting our individual styles and personalities! Having such personalised artwork pieces can also serve as a meaningful conversation starter, especially when it has sentimental value or memories. Here is how we added these tailored artwork pieces to complement our house décor. First up, at the dry pantry area. How many personalised artwork pieces do you spot?
  • This is a personalised floral arrangement art piece that we did recently! Added touches of white and blue to complement the Santorini Theme at this side of the wall.
  • We have many unique hand-drawn art pieces in our home. This is an illustration from the Movie Up, of the house flying into the sky, lifted by the colourful vibrant balloons. If you are wondering how this artpiece is made, surprise, it was a PAINT-BY-NUMBER kit! So even if you have zero art talent, you can still make a perfect art piece!
  • This is the main clock in our living room area. We hand wood-crafted a wooden clock to match the Japandi theme of our home!
  • Each customised artwork brings back different memories! This was a DIY fluid bear which we both did together. The whole experience was very memorable, just like life, the colours could be changed again and again, and you won’t know what the final product will look like until the last minute! This was meant to be a display art piece, but we found a functional use for it, to hang our rubber bands (which also looks like the bear is lifting hoola hoops ha!)
  • Another area where we display some of our customised artwork pieces is at the entrance foyer area!
  • We went for a workshop at Chokmah and handcrafted our very own Terrazzo Collection Pill-Shaped Tray, using the eco-friendly Jesmonite. We are using it to store car keys and some spare keys (our house is using digital door lock, so there is actually no need for physical keys)!
  • Another new joiner to this display area is this musical box! The little decorative items were handpicked and glued down, and the choice of music from the musical box was also specially selected.
  • As a couple during the dating phase, we went for many art jamming dates! Here is one of the masterpiece drawn by one of us! (We have a total of 3 hand-drawn painting in the house.) Recently, we also got down to decorating our bomb shelter! We bought a set of postcard decorative items and self-arranged them to display onto the wall here to add some character Transform your home in your own unique and personal way!
