How pretty can BTO toilets become? Honestly, during planning we didn't want to go too far to be cost efficient but look at what we got in the end! We spent a whooping $18k on both toilets alone The very raw and the before state before renovations. It was giving alright, spacious and big but not quite what we were looking for. Work that we have done: Overlayed floor tiles to have a drop down to section the shower area 1.1k Overlayed the wall tiles 3k Removed the mesh on top and partitioned it up 350 Custom made our vanity with sink 500 Changed all the sanitary fittings 2.1k Installation etc We spent a total of 8.7k on our common toilet! Our simple shower area in the common toilet! We kept it minimal and requested for a slab of quartz from our vanity tabletop to use as soap holder! As we don't have a main light on top, we were worried that the toilet will be too dark and there wasn't sufficient space to place a bigger light in the partition. Glad it worked out well in the end! We knew we wanted to do up our master bathroom prettily and have a contrasting theme from the common toilet. We also foresee to spend alot of time inside because one of us have a golden backside! When we saw the toilet done up for the first time, we were in love! Does it remind you of a cosy hotel toilet? Work that we have done: Overlayed floor tiles to have a drop down to section the shower area 1.2k Overlayed the wall tiles 2.9k Create a niche for soap and shampoo 850 Removed the mesh on top and partitioned it up 350 Custom made our vanity with sink 500 Changed all the sanitary fittings 2.5k Installations etc FYI we splurged on our WC with Toto! (But without bidet) for our golden backside! lol our joke is that we probably will breakeven (to $1 per use) by our 1 year mark! Our total damage for the master bathroom is 9.5k Our niche which is honestly very spacious. It can hold up to 4-5 bottles depending on the size of the bottles! We also specifically requested the ID to tilt the base on the ledge slightly so water will not pond in the corners. So far so good!
