2-in-1: Our Recreational Guest Room

Welcome to our guest room! Besides being a space for our friends and family to crash if they need to, we've also used this space to accommodate some of our childhood dreams. The sofa bed can be folded out to become a flat bed when required.
The room features a map logging our past travels, as well as some of the souvenirs we've picked up along the way! Can you spot all the souvenirs and guess where they came from? For the racing simulator, it was a toss up between getting a more compact foldable simulator or to have a more permanent setup. Eventually we went with the F-GT chair since it was still quite a lot of things to fold away and keep if we got the foldable style of chairs. The whole rig feels solid and is a joy to play on all the time.

We've opted for only day curtains in this room to let more sunlight in, as well as to give the room a more airy feel since it's one of the smaller rooms at home. We also love that all our rooms face the same direction, so they all get the golden hour treatment in the evenings!

We lugged these two posters all the way from the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart when we were travelling on honeymoon. The posters help to complete the look of the driving simulator in this corner of the room, which would otherwise just look like a random black machine in our house.
