Welcome to my craft room! This is the one room I'm most excited about sharing because it is my SANCTUARY! I've always dreamed of having a whole room to myself filled with my craft supplies, and here we are! (Thank you, my dear hubby hehe) I have my desk facing the window, so I can stare out at the bright blue sky and fluffy clouds when it isn't too hot. My favourite days are when its raining.. There's just something so therapeutic about creating in a cosy space with a lit candle and rain pelting on the windows. Under my standing desk, I have my printer and sewing machine stowed below. On the left of my desk is a chest of drawers and extendable table top. I keep my craft supplies like washi tapes, wooden stamps, papers, sewing notions and etcetera in those drawers. I can reach for them easily from my desk! I also have lots of frequently used washi tapes in special drawers that I bought from the US. On the top, I also have some of my favourite markers, highlighters and pens. This organiser kind of reminds me of a stationery store. Hahah! This is my desk, where I spend my free time journaling, writing in my planner, organising or sewing! I have filled it with all the little things i love. My wooden stamps are on display for easy reach, as well as my journals. A close up of the little trinkets on my display shelf! :) Here's what my desk looks like when I'm journaling (but make it 3x messier!). I love documenting the little things and memories of my days :) On the other end of the room, I have 2 Billy Bookcases from IKEA. Ta-da!!!!! Tons and tons of pretty fabrics sit prettily in one of the Billy bookcases. I love how they're stacked like books. Just looking at this pile of fabric makes my heart sing. I love sewing pouches, bags, book covers, cushion cases.. I've been wanting to find more projects to sew for the home. So far, I've made a tissue cover, christmas table runner, christmas cushion covers and little placemats for my rattan stand. Here are some of the things I've sewed! :) In the other Billy bookcase, we have some books. The husband's cookbooks and my craft books. Last but not least, on the right side of the room, I have another cabinet which I LOVE! Shaker style, beautiful matte gold knobs, a small fluted accent drawer and fluted glass in an arch shape?! Perfect!! The beautiful nude colours are perfect too :) I use it as a storage cabinet for more craft supplies, and to display my journals over the years, Disney figurines and my handmade bags. Shelves that spark joy! :) A peek at my handmade bags. In this basket, I have more of my handmade pouches/small bags so I can easily grab one depending on what I need. I also have more acrylic stamps stored in a cardboard box. That's about it! Hope you enjoyed the tour of my craft room. It's not a study room, but it's where I craft and get my serious work done too ;)
