  • One of the most use area in my house is the kitchen! As someone who cooks often, I ensure that my kitchen is equipped with the basic necessities. As my kitchen does not get a lot of sunlight, I chose a neutral lighter colour for my kitchen cabinets. This will help to make my kitchen look brighter and bigger.
  • A wide angle view of my kitchen from the service yard. As the theme of the house is neutral and minimalist, I try not to go crazy with the colours for my kitchen. With that, my kitchen appliances are mostly black.
  • My husband and I love coffee! So I created a corner to put my coffee machine and other coffee's materials. I also have an oven and microwave at a corner near to my service yard. I love the fact that it is away from the entrance of the kitchen but the downside is that it blocks the entire glass window that separates the kitchen and the service yard. Hence lesser sunlight able to penetrate through.
  • One of my best purchased for the house is my water dispenser! I love the fact that I don't have to boil water and my guests are able to take water on the their own! This water dispenser is small in size hence it doesn't take a lot of space on the kitchen counter. I also ensure that I do not have a lot of things on my kitchen counter so that it does not look cluttered.
  • For new homeowners who love to cook, you would want to consider a glass backsplash. I love that it is easy to clean and I don't have to worry about staining the grout after cooking. I also have asked my ID to install LED lights on my kitchen cabinets. I like how it look aesthetically pleasing especially when you on it at night. But most importantly it helped you to see better when you cook at night and when your kitchen's ceiling light is not able to cover the entire kitchen.
