  • Hey there! We’re Loafy Haus, a couple with a doggo on a journey to design our dream home in earthy and creamy tones. From the get-go, we both know that we love wood elements and a cozy atmosphere. That's why we’ve opted for wood laminate for our kitchen cabinets! But hmmm, this looks abit too dark chocolatey...
  • How our kitchen looks like on Day 1!
  • Tadah! Walnut is definitely vibing for us. We decided against upper cabinets in the kitchen, as we foresee that they might go underused. In our current families’ homes, we’ve noticed that the kitchen feels much more open and spacious without upper cabinets. Finding the right tile for our kitchen backsplash has been a bit of a challenge—there are so many options! We love the look of subway tiles, but we’re not fond of the many grout lines they create. More grout = more cleaning.
  • Another view from our first rendering. One significant choice we made was to eliminate the hood, as we felt it wasn’t necessary for us.
  • Can you spot the change? I decided to remove the floating shelving from the other side of the wall! This gives us the flexibility to stack appliances in the future without any height restrictions. Who knows what we might want to add down the line? It’s all about keeping our options open! Do hit us up if you are looking for ID recommendations!
