  • Welcome to our master bedroom! Our master bedroom has a rather long and relatively narrow layout compared to our other rooms. As we made a decision to have a king-sized bed, we have to keep the room as simple as possible to make sure that we still have walking space!
  • We added a niche in the wall so that we can have a space to put things on the headboard. But after we settled down in the room, we realised that it is too high for us to naturally put things there so now it's a ledge for our art print and projector. This niche didn't cost us extra to add - there was already a beam (like the usual old HDBs) and we already wanted to box up that area to make the wall uniform. To make this niche, we simply did a half box up for that section. We had thoughts about limewashing this wall to make it more interesting, but did not because of time and additional costs. We may choose to do it soon! Stay tuned ;)
  • Due to our long and narrow layout, we were having problems deciding on how we can install our wardrobe to make the best use of our space. During consultation with all the different IDs, one of them suggested this walk-in wardrobe style. We realised doing it this way will allow us to have more wardrobe space, and so we just went with it!
  • Our vanity area - it is the darkest and hottest area in the house. We have our track lights, mirror lights, and bottom LED lights to make up for it! We also bought a table fan to keep the air flowing when we're preparing to go out. Else we would be sweating right after a "pre-going out" shower!
