  • Welcome to our minimalist home! We’re a couple who chose a one-bedroom condo for its simplicity and ease of maintenance. Since our condo came fully furnished and brand new, we made the intentional decision not to renovate. No carpentry, no fixed installations – just pure flexibility to rearrange and refresh the space whenever the mood strikes. Without engaging any interior designer or contractor, we treated our home like a blank canvas, where we could freely explore our own tastes. It all began with PowerPoint, Canva, Pinterest, and some trusted advice from friends. We dove into mixing and matching, carefully choosing furniture and décor that reflect our color palette and texture preferences. Our living room is a cozy hub for both of us. My husband, a gamer, wanted a sofa he could really sink into, so we invested in a leather piece from Celini, known for its longevity. We paired it with a sleek TV console from Scanteak, and one of my favorite purchases – a stylish standing lamp from Taobao.
  • In contrast, the bedroom is our nature-inspired retreat. We opted for a simple textured wallpaper, a king-sized bed (perfect for my tall hubby), and aesthetic window blinds. Though the blinds are more for looks than functionality, they fit the calming atmosphere we wanted for our space. The kitchen, however, is where I truly shine! As someone who loves cooking, I filled the space with all my favorite kitchen tools, from functional appliances to beautiful cookware. This was the heart of our planning, ensuring I had everything I needed to cook up a storm without compromising on style. All in all, by skipping renovations, we had the freedom to design a space that works for both of us. Through countless PowerPoint slides and a shared vision, we created a home that blends our personalities, all without the need for costly renovations!
