Heavy rain caused water to splash into the toilet, leading to inconvenience and inadequate ventilation, which in turn fostered mold growth. Drawing from our experience, we're sharing insights and considerations for crafting a master bathroom that is both functional and inviting. 1. Storage Solutions: Adequate storage ensures a clutter-free bathroom, facilitating easy cleaning and maintenance.
2. Ambiance Enhancement: To enhance the ambiance of the toilet space, we decided to build a nook for our candles, diffusers, and plants.
Additionally, we have designated space beside the basin to conveniently place handwash. This addition can contribute to a more relaxing and spa-like atmosphere, promoting a sense of tranquility and well-being. It's a sanctuary where we can relax and engage our senses, leaving behind the pressures of the outside world.
3. Top-Hung Window VS Adjustable Louver Windows: Opting for top-hung windows proved advantageous due to their ease of use, aesthetic appeal, and superior protection against rain. For new homeowners managing renovations through a contractor, it's essential to engage a Building and Construction Authority (BCA) approved window contractor listed in HDB’s directory to ensure safety during window installation or replacement work. 4. Ventilation: Given Singapore's tropical climate, ventilation is crucial in both our master and common toilets. We installed exhaust fans to ensure proper air circulation, reducing humidity levels and preventing mold growth. Our choice leaned towards a sleek and minimalist design for these ventilation fixtures.

Comfort Features: 3-Way Rain Shower Set: We have installed a 3-way rain shower set which offer us the convenience of switching between showerheads makes it easier to tackle various cleaning tasks effectively.
