  • Welcome to our space where we catch up with friends and families with food and drinks and the space where we always have our scrumptious meal. First thing first, designing a cozy dining space revolves around creating warmth, incorporating wood elements, utilizing warm lighting and accentuating the ambiance with carefully chosen accessories like vases and small details. Here is the view of our humble dining area as we first enter the house, overlooking the main living room. Although there isn’t any direct separation between these two corners, it actually brings the flow of the home together, especially when having guests around. They get to closely interact within the same zone.
  • We like simplicity too sometimes. Using wooden furniture especially wood tones like teak or walnut add coziness to the space whilst being timeless. We also considered pendant lights to create a warm atmosphere as it lowers down the illusion of the area, making it extra inviting. We juxtaposed the entire concept by placing our dining set right smack in the middle as we enter as having open kitchen concept is close to impossible due to restrictions like wall beams. Here however, we still get to peek into the kitchen!
  • Since we don’t have a big dining area, we always keep the space tidy and decluttered to maintain the cozy atmosphere. We also decorate with vase, candle and table runners that complement dining aesthetic, making it more complete while elevating the dining experience.
