Entryway Evolution: From Hiccups to Highlights

We shared our entryway in our very first post, but here's a fresh look at how we styled it for our kid's birthday celebration! We are awaiting for our arch lattice door to be ready :(
This tile trimming was a creative fix for a reno mistake I shared in my IG stories—ended up looking pretty great!
The settee doubles as extra storage space, which I'm sure we'll put to good use.

This is our shoe cabinet, with a gap reserved for our everyday shoes, which we removed for this event. Places our door gifts at this area for the celebration. The niche is slightly larger to align with the end of the mirror, which doubles as an occasional OOTD spot—steps included, of course! This shoe cabinet is smaller than our previous BTO though😅
This space used to be just an empty indent, but we decided to transform it into a "utilities" cabinet to store cleaning supplies and other random items.

As you can see, we added sockets inside, which are perfect for charging our vacuum.
Ah, the main entrance! I had hoped the gate would be installed by now, but if you follow me on IG, you already know about the issues with our vendor. Still, I'm loving the mat we picked out! Can't wait to spruce up this area soon!
