Hi there! This week, weâre sharing a glimpse of our service yardâthe one spot in our otherwise neutral home that has a touch of personality. Originally, this space had two windows and a bifold door. We decided to seal one window and upgrade the rest to a reeded glass pane and a swing door for a refreshed look. During planning, we considered boxing up the exposed piping with cabinetry to create seamless storage. However, we realized it would make the space feel cramped and opted against it, which also helped save costs. Instead, we added a ledge above the washer for storing cleaning supplies in transparent containersâpractical and neat! The area beside the washer is home to our laundry baskets, with an extra socket (not pictured) installed for future use, like a robot vacuum. On the other side, we have left space open to charge our Dreame H13 Pro vacuumâa game-changer for our home. My husband, once loyal to the classic mop and bucket, was quickly converted after trying it đ€Ł Another favorite purchase is our YuHome, which solves the challenge of drying clothes quickly without shrinking themâno dryer needed. Our storage heater is also neatly tucked away here. Despite its size, this yard is highly functional. The bright tiles lift our mood while tackling chores, making the space both practical and uplifting. Thanks for reading till the end â we hope this inspires your own small-space solutions! :)
