  • Welcome to the renders of our bedrooms! We decided to swap our MBR with another bedroom to maximise space and functionality for the other room, since we will only be sleeping in our MBR, we do not need so much space. We elected a lighter colour wardrobe as our floor tiles are really quite dark and our ids suggested a curve intent for our wardrobe which we thought was a really nice touch and also for future proofing if we have kids. Originally, we considered looking for a loose wardrobe so that we could change our layout or our rooms in future, but the hassle of finding a nice wardrobe that fits made us give that up. We also considered mounting the wardrobe directly to the wall and covering it with a sliding door. We abandoned this idea after getting a quote from our ID. For lights we opted for warm lighting. We decided to have cove lights for a more cosy effect and spot lights around the wardrobe for changing. There is also a fan light as well so that there is an option for the room to be brighter if we wishes! No tv here but we have a power point at the wall area if we decides to get a tv/projector in the future.
  • This was the original master bedroom which was bigger than our new MBR. We decided to switch it to be an entertainment room. With a larger space, we are thinking of setting up a home gym here. No built ins here as we want to be able to switch things around.
  • Last bedroom will be turned into a study room! went for dark tiles for all 3 rooms as we want the whole theme to be consistent. To make our room brighter we elected for track lights instead of spot lights.
  • Something that we wanted to have for our Reno is to hack the walls and add windows to our bedrooms to make the whole space brighter and have better ventilation! We were happy that our ids were able to make it come true for us. One downside to this is that we may not be able to convert those two rooms back into a bedroom in future, without sacrificing the original purpose of light and air flow.
  • How it looks like after hacking and before windows installation!
  • After! And that’s all for our bedroom renders and windows! We are excited to see the final look!
