  • We are thankful for the morning sun rays that peek through our window and day curtains everyday. It really uplift our space and give it a warm, natural glow. Bright, is a word I would use to describe the vibes of my living room on most morning.
  • However, as we inch closer to evening, the mood of the house changes. Let me share a little about how we create a cosy ambience using accent lighting! We usually keep our cove lights off and turn on a series of lamps to soften the room as dusk falls. This is the classic modern copper lamp that we got from Hipvan!
  • Excited to introduce our latest addition - the Sowden PL1 portable lamp that we got from Studio Yono! Love how the colours (orange and blue) brighten up the space. It has 3 levels of brightness and we use it at night when we prefer a softer atmosphere.
  • Portable and able to display anywhere we like aka kitchen shelves!
  • We also have a cove light under our display shelf in our study room. This was designed by my ID, aka my uncle and we felt it was well thought out. Now, we just turn on this light instead of our track lights on the ceiling and it will create a warm, cosy atmosphere which is perfect for winding down.
  • Another lamp that we got! The Lexon Mina L lamp that comes in 16 different LED lights. All in all, I believe that lighting is key to shaping the mood and vibes of your home and accent lighting like lamps, wall sconces, track lights can definitely bring out the ambience of your home.
