Welcome to our open concept kitchen with a woody vibe! This is my husband’s playground where he lovingly cooks for us majority of the time. We really like the wood-like laminates we got from Lamitak which really suits the mid-century modern style of our home. We opted for open kitchen so that the house looks and feels larger. To counter smell and oily floor problem, we invested in a hood that has proven to be really helpful in sucking up the oil and smell. Also, just avoid deep frying at home (it’s bad for your health anyway). If the food smell still lingers, we use the diffuser or scented candles to freshen up the space. A little decor corner of the kitchen to display books and super cute Moka pot. We love this Mitsubishi Folio refrigerator, it is compartmentalised so that it saves more energy and helps to keep your food cold and fresh better. We read that this fridge, if well taken care of, can last for over 20 years! We love our huge sink which makes washing so much easier! If space allows in your home, we highly recommend getting a big sink. Blum is a dream, love how it holds up the weight and the soft closing.
