Hello! We upgraded our coffee corner and I’m happy to say it’s a really functional space for us now. It’s actually more of a beverage corner, as you can tell by our rather large selection of teas on display. The main upgrade was the installation of a metal double layered wall shelf, which enables us to both store and showcase our collection of teas, teaware and decor pieces. This was our initial set up from a few months after we moved in. We spent some time utilising the space and understanding our needs before deciding on how to upgrade it. We decided to install a simple shelf and made the decision to align the shelf with our existing wall plugs, so as to maintain a neat look and prevent any interference with plug positions etc in the future. Having almost all of our tea collection in plain view also keeps us from forgetting what we have and ensures they don’t go to waste. We also use the shelf to display decor to bring some personality to the space. We like to recycle nice packaging to organise loose items like coffee drip bags / instant drink packages. This white container used to be a cake box! A small perk of bulky power sockets, they can be used as mini display shelf spaces. Here we display a small collection of ghost/spoky themed art pieces.
