  • Welcome to our monochrome living room, blending cherished items from the previous home with ample open space, perfect for the kids to play and explore. The sofa, tv and tv console are all reused from our previous home although we may buy new ones down the road. They served us well previously and still suits the theme of this home. Our sofa is reclinable with charging ports at the side. However due to its current position in this new home we are unable to plug it. Fans, lights and curtains are bought from JB vendors.
  • While we had a playmat infront of the sofa previously, the current space is too narrow to place it. My kids love cycling around the house. Adding a rug would cover the beautiful tiles so we decided to leave it as such for now. The only carpentry in this area is the L shaped feature wall, which does sort of have a practical reason. As you can see there is an area behind the living room which is very bare now. Hope to work on it soon!
  • 1) It serves as an ootd wall (haha) as shown by my kid here 😅😂 The niche area is where we place family photos, and some remote controls
  • Closer look of the niche.
  • The ‘hidden door’ leads to our private spaces, including the master bedroom, walk-in wardrobe, storeroom, and another bedroom. We love how it allows us to close off the rest of the house at night, creating a cozy, cocooned feeling of safety. It is also meant to block off our private spaces when we have gatherings.
  • We placed our old playmat here during gatherings for additional space for guests to sit on. We love this reversible 4cm thick playmat! Comfy to sleep on too!
  • We held my kid birthday celebration just yesterday and this was how we DIY the set up. If you can see the top portion of the feature walls. They act as a cabinet so that we can access the air con trunking if we ever need to.
