Where we spent most of our time and also our of our fave spots of the house - chilling in the living room ◡̈ When choosing our furnitures, we try to find those with neutral colours so it is easier to match and also because it is timeless eg beige, grey, brown. We went for ceiling to floor curtains to give more height to the space, and also chose linen 60-70% blackout to brighten the space yet ensuring privacy. For more cozy vibes, we decorated the space with cushions and rugs, and an indoor plant! We are still finding a suitable art piece to decorate the wall behind the sofa so this is a WIP state of our living room! 
Just a close up of some of the decor items in the living room. FYI this is the preserved flower bouquet from our pre wedding shoot and can’t believe it is still in quite good condition after 2+ years! 
As there were already quite a few darker coloured furnitures in the living room, we decided to go with a light coloured stone coffee table to blend into the space. We really liked the rugged texture of the coffee table ◡̈
