  • The only area in my home that is not part of the beige tone family is my guest's bathroom! The colour was chosen by my husband and we wanted a lux-modern theme bathroom as we were inspired by some of the hotel bathrooms that we have been to. We chose grey marble tiles for both wall and flooring. The glass partition screen has a silver trim. Tips: One of the tips to have your bathroom looking larger is to use big square tiles instead of rectangle tiles. When you use smaller tiles, it can look a little 'busy' on the overall look of the toilet.
  • I just love odd shape mirrors! It looks fun and cute. Something different from the normal mirrors we use to have back at our parent's place! I have chose a brown bathroom's cabinet so that it can coordinate well with the silver and grey. As silver and grey can look pretty dull hence a bit of brown and green shade to spice up the look of the bathroom. As for the sink, I have picked a marble sink with a round shape. The marble has a little bit of grey and brown streaks hence it goes well with the bathroom.
  • Sadly we had no choice but to put our water heater at our guests' bathroom. After a lot of consideration and advice from our ID, the best place was to install in the guest's bathroom. We bought our heater from AC Smith. A good but bulky water heater! At first I was afraid it will look huge and bulky but after awhile, people don't really realised the water heater is above them! Tips: Before getting the heater, please measure the area you want to install the heater. I had to change my water heater a few times because we realised it was all the wrong size! So to prevent that, please measure!
  • I have always wanted a rain shower. It feels nice to have a rain shower after you come back from a long and tiring day at work. Hence installing them was never a regret. It also add up to the lux look of the bathroom. Instead of getting the traditional shower shelves, I have asked my ID to create a shower shelves using tiles. I like this idea because it won't get rusty overtime and it also cleans easily.
