  • Welcome to our Entryway! This is the only part of our home where we took into account Feng Shui considerations. Our main door aligns directly with our living room windows, which, according to Feng Shui principles, could cause energy and wealth to flow quickly in and out of the home.
  • To counter this, we added a divider at our entrance. This not only helps maintain good energy flow but also creates a cozy entryway, setting a distinct boundary between the entrance and the main living space. Most importantly, it gives us a bit of extra privacy (so we can check ourselves out in the mirror without our neighbors catching us😂)
  • We decided to use fluted glass for our divider, which allows light to still flow freely through the room. On the back of the divider, we built a cabinet to store those unsightly but essential items—like our accumulated mountain of paper and reusable bags!
  • We chose to have the cabinets opening towards the living room, so we would have space to put a bench facing the door where we can sit comfortably to put on our shoes. We also couldn't resist adding some cozy Mediterranean decor to our bench!
  • For shoe storage, our DB box has built-in shelves, designed by our ID, to keep everything neatly tucked away. This entryway perfectly combines functionality with Feng Shui, creating a welcoming and organized space that sets the tone for our home!
