Our living room recently got a magical Harry Potter makeover! As a birthday surprise for his Potterhead wife, the husband went all out with the decorations. He even got floating candles for that enchanting touch! 
The Harry Potter themed cushion covers, a thoughtful gift from a friend, fit right in. 
But on ordinary days, this is what our living room looks like. We added a diffuser on the piano that reminds us of the Hogwarts Express, bringing a hint of magic into our everyday space. 
Our home isn’t all Harry Potter—the main theme is Mediterranean. To achieve this look, we chose organic materials like wood and rattan for our furniture, adding a natural, earthy feel. 
We incorporated terracotta, blue, and white tones, along with different textures, to enhance the warm Mediterranean feel. 
To complement the organic Mediterranean design, we chose shelves with a natural plank look. The shelves are now filled with decor that reflects our favorite things and meaningful memories.
