  • Welcome back to the next episode of Danesthy's ft. the dining room. Behold the statement piece of our dining room - the Arc Dry pantry. The motivation behind the dry panty spans the distance between the living room and the kitchen/common toilet. Having a dry pantry is a quality of life improvement from washing our hands to doubling up as a countertop. The lantern bulbs serenading the dry pantry were sourced from Taobao. The night time ambience spells out cosy once turned on. Another focus is our wooden dining table. We opted for a 1.5m extendable to 2.0m table from Castlery, a rusty homey addition that complements the vinyl flooring and farmhouse theme.
  • We used to be told no watching television while eating, well... The dining area positions right behind the sofa for us to catch up on shows while having our meals. It triples up as an extension to the living area when we hold gatherings and also a working space for my partner when we have concurrent work calls.
  • The dining room is the first thing you see as we open our main wooden door, which gives us a clear view of our friends who say they are reaching but just left the house. The 3 in 1 living space encompasses the settee area, dining as well as the living room, hence we tailored the furniture and fittings to create a seamless inclusion for all 3 purposes.
