Welcome to the living room, this is also where the wifey can usually be found watching her favourite dramas on her massage chair. Having a TV feature wall with hidden storage and having a Samsung Frame TV on the feature wall was something we both knew we wanted. Besides that, we felt the vertical lines of the design helps to elongate the ceiling height visually. The amount of vertical storage the TV feature wall holds is really bang for buck per sq metre. We have our stationary corner, gadgets and boxes, files of containing all our household appliances invoices and warranty info, contracts from our home renovation journey and more. The items within the storage spaces evolve with us in our home journey. This is the side of our bomb shelter which is decked in floor-to-ceiling storage, with adjustable height shelves for adjustable junk of course, ah…the satisfaction of closing the door on them! We also specifically requested for full height doors here to visually elongate the ceiling. We love how it looks closed. Floor-to-ceiling storage with adjustable shelves. Here’s how it looks opened. It’s hidden but definitely more than enough capacity within. No regrets fitting our entryway with end-to end storage. It not only hides the bomb shelter but also serves as a design canvas with the open shelves to display items which we like (& fits into the theme of the home). The open shelves and soft furnishings add another dimension of good vibes to the space. Even if it requires extra effort to maintain, we feel it’s worth our time. Do whatever makes you happy! Here’s another angle of the entryway with all storage doors closed. We love how the laminates matches the wood ceiling & floor to tie the look together. Let’s open all the storage! We store most of our shoes in these cardboards with the exception of a few frequently used pairs near the door. It’s easy access while remaining neatly concealed at the same time. No regrets fitting our entryway with end-to end storage, our favourite is the customised tic-tac door which hides our bomb shelter door. The door hides storage shelves at the back which stores our essentials & spare supplies such as tissue paper, floor wipes, plasters, toothpastes & more. This little nook at the top of the bomb shelter door, it’s like the HDB version of dusty attic in England full of dusty books😂 Curating a collection of nostalgia books that were a big part of my childhood. An overlooked but usable space 😊 Don’t be fooled by how it looks, it’s a perfectly spacious spot to store my book collection, welcome to my attic of dusty books, HDB version 😆
