We didn't customise anything for our living room at all. No built-ins, no boundaries, and lower cost too! This is a 3D mock up of our living room and we tried to keep the key elements when shopping for furniture and finishings :) This is how it eventually turned out - not exactly the same, but good enough for us! We bought our items from various stores (mostly local, but some from TB!), check out the tags if you're interested. Starting from a blank slate... (P.S. Living room in BTOs is really small) ... and adding on the key items, like sofa, curtains, lights, fan, TV console. Getting there, but still didn't feel quite right for us! So we threw in more furnishings like a faux plant and a blanket throw to make the place look more lively and cosy. But... we still wanted more haha and this is the final look! We added a rug that is about 3/4 the size of our living room - the rug is rlly super soft and so nice + comfy to lounge in! A wide-angled shot to show how it looks from the other end of the living room, before we go into some close up shots. Here's the faux plant we bought from TB (recommended by another home account!). This one is 1.8m tall, but it comes in different sizes so y'all can choose based on your liking :) (nice fragrances keep us happy) For our TV console, we went with something simple, just a black walnut one with rattan doors. The unsightly wires are hidden in the console and behind the TV! This is the favourite corner of our living room! The recliner chair from Nine N turned out soooo comfortable and we really highly recommend it - the cushion is super soft + high quality and we lost track of the number of times we fell asleep here haha. Bye for now! - From our resident pineapple plush toy
