Welcome to our self-styled living room! We wanted to keep the space open and cozy as this is where we spend every night watching Netflix after dinner! We hunted high and low for a wall mounted TV console. I don’t know why it is so hard to find one in SG. We ended up getting ours from IKEA because we wanted a 2.4m long console and we were scared if we shipped from taobao it wouldn’t fit into the lift 😅 The IKEA tv console is great though! Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a wall mounted piece - you can mix and match the doors/drawer interior as well! 
We also got the Aqara blinds attachment so we can control the blinds after integrating it into our Apple home (more on smart home stuff in another post). It’s a really neat feature as we can lower the blinds without leaving the couch when watching tv 😂 #lazypeopleproblem We customised our sofa because it was so hard to find a nice sofa that fits a BTO living room! Happy we did so because we could choose the fabric/hardness of cushion/height etc. We wanted a pet-friendly fabric because of the doggos! Cute display piece from Turtle! Our living room is still work in progress. We are still on a lookout for a washable rug! Till the next time~
