Hi all ! Today we are showing you the place that we spent most of our time when at home. Tadaaa.....this is our soft minimalist living room. In this living room, we keep it very simple, all of the items in this living room are buy off the shelf, nothing built in. At first we wanted to have a TV feature wall to conceal the TV wiring and make it look clean. However, we noticed that the living room space is small. Our ID Jeremy from Renostud, suggested us we do not need a TV feature wall. He recommend us to get a TV console with wire hole to connect the wiring which is more budget friendly , and save the money on other renovation use. We are so grateful we have met a reliable ID. What he suggested truly make sense. We have saved a few hundred dollars here just to conceal a very thin TV wiring. Besides that, he also suggested that we don't need to build a false ceiling in living room. Consider that both of us are quite tall, and the cost a bit higher than our budget. It is also our personal preference we want to have the freedom to change the style and furnishings of the house at any time. Therefore, we don't need so much built in items. We are truly lucky to have found a reliable ID that aligned with our concern. 5 stars to him ! If you are preparing for reno, do consider some of these tips on cost saving. Our friends say this sofa is dangerous, it has a magical power that makes you want to sleep after you lie down. The sofa is extendable, please see the photo below after extend. We chose a light-colored beige sofa to match the overall theme of the house which are more creamy white and neutral wood tone. We put in effort on small details. The color and pleats of the TV cabinet also match the curtains, creating a consistent atmosphere. This is our minimalist beige living room. We hope you enjoy reading this article.
