  • Hi there! I’m Sabrina, a fragrance marketer who recently relocated to Singapore. Before moving here, I spent 5 years in Paris, slowly building a cozy space that truly felt like home… And now I’m working on doing the same in Singapore! 🤍 I’m currently living in a shared HDB rental, which means most of my personal space is limited to my bedroom 🛏️ Turning this small space into a place that feels like “me” has definitely been a creative challenge, but I’m loving every moment of it 🥹 As someone who works in beauty with a secret dream of being a barista, one of the areas I’ve put a lot of thought into is my vanity, which shares a space with my home coffee corner ☕️ It holds the essentials I reach for daily and serves as a space where I can unwind and get ready for the day. If you’re working with a limited space like I am, here are some ways I’ve transformed my vanity area to make each morning a little brighter.
  • Furniture That Does Double Duty Living in a shared rental with limited space meant I had to get creative with my furniture choices 😉 I went with a 1.2M sideboard with storage cabinets that works as both my vanity and coffee station. The long surface gives me plenty of space to display essentials and decor on the vanity side💄 while the other end hosts my entire coffee setup ☕️ The hidden storage keeps everything organized and out of sight, so I can enjoy a clutter-free space.
  • Maximizing Storage & Organization Organization is everything when you’re working with a small space. Most of my makeup and skincare live in the bathroom to keep counter space clear, but I keep my daily essentials - like fragrance and jewelry - on a tray in my vanity area. This makes them easy to grab in the morning, while still looking tidy 🧹 Inside the cabinets below, I use baskets to organize everything else, from skincare to charging cables to coffee accessories 🧺 That way, everything has a place and nothing gets lost!
  • Bringing Personality to the Space Since I spend so much time here, I wanted my vanity to reflect my personality. I display little treasures – gifts, love notes and things that bring me joy 🥰 I also like to refresh the space with “seasonal” touches. Living in Singapore, where the seasons don’t really change, I need to find creative ways to bring new energy into the room. Sometimes it’s as simple as swapping out a scented candle 🕯️ or adding a vase of fresh flowers 💐 During the cooler months, I love introducing autumn/winter vibes - think darker color tones and cozy, warm scents 🍂
  • Creating a Cozy Atmosphere As a fragrance and coffee lover, this little area has become my sanctuary 😌 A scented candle, a few perfume bottles and my favorite ceramic cups are always within reach. These little details help set the tone for my mornings, turning my routine into a self-care moment. On slower evenings, I fire up my projector to add even more ambience - whether it’s a crackling fireplace, raindrops on a window pane or a serene countryside view 🪟
  • Creating a beautifully organized vanity area, especially in a small place, comes down to a few key things: multifunctional furniture, accessible yet tidy essentials and personal touches that make the space truly yours 🤗 This little corner has become my cozy retreat in a new home, and I hope it has inspired you to design your own special space 💗
