  • Welcome! This is my dining room, aka the place where I love to host my family for big family dinners :) It may not be a big area, but it's spacious enough to feel comfortable and cozy enough to not feel too squeezy. Perfect, imo.
  • Our dining table is from the Cadencia line from HipVan, and as soon as I lay my eyes on it at the showroom, I knew I needed it. The herringbone design of the acacia wood is insanely beautiful, and I particular love the wood grain detailing and how each herringbone plank differs slightly. It is such an stunning statement piece with gorgeous unique details that really elevated the area.
  • The wall behind our dining table is pretty big and bare but we had the perfect art piece to go along with it. Chi and I painted these canvases ourselves at Motion Art Space, an amazing art jamming studio on Arab St that combines physics with art. This piece is literally one-of-a-kind, handmade with love, and holds memories of that day that the two of us will cherish forever.
  • Another angle of our dining table (excuse the boxes in the back... unpacking is a process). Love the gold legs on both the dining table and the matching bench as well. So far, we've had no complaints of sore bums after sitting on a wooden bench for an extended period of time, but if we need to we can easily pickup some cushions to make it more comfortable.
  • Thanks for reading! Delighted to have shared this little space with you :) Let me know what you think! Oh, flowers are from some amazing friends for my birthday. Never thought I'd be someone who would make sure there's always flowers in the home, but they added some warmth and love to the place that may just turn me into a flower person.
