“CARVED WOOD BIRCH” is the new variation of “CARVED” series, which was released and received a Good design award in 2010. While following the same manufacturing process as the previous CARVED series, laminated birch is used as the material of the clock face. The texture of the face creates rich shade. The texture of the wood creates rich shadows. • Designed by Naoki Terada. An architect and designer, he is involved in architectural and product design as well as brand production and direction. He is currently the President and CEO of Interoffice Co., Ltd., a part-time lecturer at Musashino Art University, and a judge for the Good Design Award.
