    This shelf is steady and its wood is solid. Its height is appropriate for a child to keep or reach out for items.

    It is wobbly if u shake it a bit. Best to lean the either side against the wall if you’re paranoid about that.

    I have worried in the past that HipVan stuff was pricy for the quality but I really liked the look of this shelf and decided to give it a go. I was surprised at how solid it was, but I docked a star as for the price, I would have expected the wood to be finished / varnished.
